The second most popular city in Nebraska, Lincoln is located in the bottom right corner of the state. Located in Lancaster County, Lincoln was founded on the wild salt flats.

Lincoln public schools rank among the top public schools in the entire nation. Recently, the community invested around $250 million toward upgrading school facilities. It is also home to the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Concordia, Doane College, and many others. Around 70% of Lincoln residents have a college education.

There are over 125 parks in the city of Lincoln, all of which are connected by a 130-mile long system of trails. There are also public recreation centers, public golf courses, outdoor public pools, and smaller neighborhood parks.
