Eugene is the second largest city in the state, next to Portland, and is located in the southern Willamette Valley, near the McKenzie and Willamette rivers. Additionally, it is just a short 50 miles to the Oregon Coast.

Eugene is most widely recognized for the University of Oregon. A four-year university housing over 20,000 undergrads.
